Boilers, machines for weaving, embroidering, sewing buttonholes, sewing on buttons and putting adhesive tape on disposable nappies, apart from services and accessories are among the innovations presented by the exhibitors.

São Paulo, February 2009 – A little more than a month from its realization, the INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY WEEK, occurring from the 10th to 13th of March, at the Exhibition Pavilion of Anhembi, in São Paulo, shows itself as the ideal location for exhibitors of all Brazil and other countries to demonstrate their brands and innovations.

Formed by four important events - ITMEX AMERICAS (10th International Textile Machinery Trade Fair), EXPOLAV (8th International Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Machinery, Equipment, Products and Services Trade Fair), FEIMACO (5th International Garment Industry Machinery and Components Trade Fair)and the NT&TT SHOW (3rd International Nonwovens & Technical Textiles Trade Fair) -, the WEEK, organised and promoted by Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, brings together around about 600 exhibitors from 20 countries, with the expectation of receiving 28 thousand visitors.

"The participation of these exhibitors confirms that their presence at an event like this is of fundamental importance to reinforce the institutional image of the company, to open new channels of relationships and expose products to a greater number of people in a short space of time", observes Evaristo Nascimento, Director of Fairs for Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado.

During four days, visitors will have access to innumerable products being exhibited, services and accessories of the most diverse segments which make up the chain of textiles and clothing. Confirm some of the innovations:

ARAUTERM, which operates in the segment of Boilers and Heaters, and at EXPOLAV exhibits exchangers and economisers for boilers, apart from models of boilers. They emphasise that the company’s products include: oil or gas fuelled boilers which generate steam; solid fuel (firewood, chips, residues) steam boilers, hot water boilers for heating processes; boilers which generate hot water for consumption; oil or gas heaters for thermal fluids; and solid fuel heaters (firewood, chips, residues) for thermal fluids. Another product which merits mention is a special economiser to take advantage of the energy from the residual combustion gases, carrying out the pre heating of water in steam boilers, with gas burners, and the continuous feed of water. The economizer is selected according to the capacity of each boiler and increases temperature of the water supply by about 50°C, bringing about a considerable economy in fuel.

SILY & CIA bring to FEIMACO industrial sewing machines for all types of materials, automatic units for the sewing of jeans and machinery for embroidery. There will be five innovations: electronic machines for sewing button holes, sewing on buttons, decorative stitches, without sewing, and embroidery.

With 20 years of existence, NÃOTECIDOS CONSULTORIA (NT Consultoria) is taking part in NT&TT SHOW 2009 to present the various types of services they supply, such as consultation, intermediation of sales and training in the segment of nonwovens, apart from the participation in dozens of projects in factories for nonwovens and the development of nonwoven products. The company will also use the exhibition for the commercialisation of the book "Nonwoven Technology: Principal Material, Processes and Final Applications", launched in 2006 and whose first edition was practically sold out.

PARAFIX, which operates in the segment of systems for the adhesive and mechanical closing of nappies, liners for hygienic absorbents and industrial adhesive tapes, will launch stretch tapes with hooks and with adhesives and loops at the NT&TT SHOW. The visitor can also get to know other company products, such as tapes for closing nappies, including lateral adhesives; hook tapes; stretch tapes; ear stretch for nappies ; frontal loop tape; and industrial tapes. As an attraction, the company will exhibit a machine for making the loop adhesive, in a production line of disposable nappies.

For the consumer market for textile machinery, ITMEX AMERICAS brings a range of variety. ALBEZA, in partnership with VILA PORTO INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS, exhibits circular weavers’ looms for knitting (a loom with a large diameter for the manufacture of knitted blankets will be exhibited) and electronic machines for the manufacture of socks.

A supplier of replacement parts for textile machines in the segments of Spinning, Flat Weaving, Jacquard, Needles and Sinkers, J CHICATTO brings to ITMEX AMERICAS assorted products for these markets. These are: replacement parts for: open-ends, winding frames, drain valves, projectile looms, gripper looms. air jet looms, tapes for looms; accessories for jacquard machines; assistance for exchanges, levelling and assembling of jacquard pavilions, and needles and sinkers for all types of looms. The company, which is taking part in a fair away from the southern region of the country for the first time, hopes to consolidate its name in the market, and seek new clients and markets.

Working in the market for the commercialisation of parts for the textile industry, NS IMPORTAÇÃO E COMÉRCIO will exhibit lubricating oils, needles, sinkers, auxiliary products for dying, threads, feeders, and accessories at ITMEX AMERICAS. Among the innovations for the event is the launch of two products: Óleo Silvertex Plus and Óleo Silverthem 832. The first is neutral lubricating oil with the high level of purity indicated for the sewing of textiles, leather, plastics and paper. The low toxicity of the product allows its use where health and work safety norms need to be followed. The second is an oil for heat transfer, composed of paraffinic mineral oil and specially developed additives for closed heat transfer systems. It has a high index of viscosity, which provides for better performance with ideal fluidity. The presence of special additives provides resistance to oxidisation and high thermal stability permitting longer use.

Also present at ITMEX AMERICAS, is RIVITEX who exhibits assorted products such as: the Merrow industrial sewing machine, rings, blowers and apparatus for cleaning spinning frames, accessories and parts for chenille machines, felt for ring spinning frames and looms, sinkers, knifes for the Ketten and Raschel machines, accessories and parts for the Volkmann twisting frames, and flyers for Holz roving frames. Another three products will be launched at the event. We are talking of the hand held stroboscope for measuring the speed of the spindles, of the quick-lock system and the LCD pressure paddle on the flyers of the roving frame and  the rollers of the Berkolizing machine (ultra violet light treatment).

Machinery for fastening warp, combing and de liçar warp will be the highlights of TITAN DO BRASIL MÁQUINAS TÊXTEIS. The company which is active in the weaving segment – machinery for preparation for weaving, is participating in ITMEX AMERICAS jointly with TITAN TEXTILE MACHINES S.L., of Spain (a manufacturer of textile machinery since 1965).
